Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Barking cannot be a reason for euthanasia. You wouldn't kill a child for crying or being noisy !

There is a medical procedure we used once when a dog was insessantly barking and annoying us and neibghbors. Its DeBarking it is a one day operation. The dog continues to bark for a day or two then it becomes like just air comming out in a bark sound to the dog. The continue to bark but it is vertualy silent.. The dog never noticed he barked for ten more years till he passed. It was not expensive. Also you can bring your pups to a basic obeidence class and gain a better relationship as thier leader and they will listen to you. NEVER YELL at a barking dog because they think you are barking with them. I pray your dogs are given another chance.

Would you kill a human baby for crying NO!! Of course not. Seriously this situation is an outrage. Call it what it is " senseless murder"

Why neighbors did not complain let them live

Simply barking does not constitute dangerous behavior. That's is what dogs do. This is unacceptable

U have got to b kidding me. This is just crazy. Come up to my block in North Jersey and listen to the 8 dogs who bark at every little thing. Do they also deserve this treatment? No way. That is how dogs communicate. Seriously!

Barking in not attacking every idiot know this . Barking does not make a dog dangerous These dogs need to be returned unharmed to their owner I have worked in shelters and for rescues and have not seen such mistreatment or mislabeling an animal like these two dogs have been.

that is wrong, dogs bark for gods sake. If these dogs are friendly why would you kill them. I suggest the neighbors get earplugs.
