Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

I'm in Va and this is just wrong. So I'm doing my part to help these fur babies.

This is ludicrous!

No dog should be euthanized for barking! Nor should they have to wear muzzles while in the owners yard!

Dangerous just for barking? NO jumping or chasing! Stupid city Port St Lucie! Idiots must run it!

It shocks me that such extreme measures are taken over non-violent behavior. Training should be tried first. Moving second. You do not just take people's animals and shoot them in America.

Please don't hurt these babies. They did nothing wrong. Dogs bark, humans talk and we don't kill them.

I think our society is so quick judge and points fingers and to kill an animal for doing what he is suppose to do... Bark is unacceptable. That is their way of communicating, why not try behavioral training never kill as first line. Those neighbors are barking too but the poor animal has to pay with their lives. They didn't attack. People are sickening and poor excuses for humans

Please send these dogs back home. There is NOTHING wrong with a barking dog.

Barking dogs are a nuisance if it is continually. My dogs bark at our new neighbors, until they get to meet them. Once they know them the barking quickly reduces to short greeting barks. It is a dog's job to announce anything approaching or moving about - they do not deserve DEATH. That's unreasonable, excessive, and unjust punishment. Order a behaviorist to assess the situation and teach a solution.

Save the dogs but euthanize the stupid neighbor!!

All dogs bark. As long as they don't jite, there is nothing wrong. I have 4 dogs, and they all bark at some time or another. Barking is no reason to kill an animal. I hope that Ms. Castro get her furbaby es back.

For heavens sake. They are still puppies. They can be taught not to bark so much.
