Paypal, remove the offensive "need a new skipper" commercial

The commercial doesn't make sense at all. Nobody leaves a bird in a cage without food, and nobody with a mind is going to have a parrot in a tiny cage like that (other than a travel cage, which that one isn't) to begin with. Even worse, there are no toys for the bird. The commercial is intended to be humorous, and, if it were a dog or cat, viewers would recognize that you can't just switch animals, but that might not be obvious in the case of parrots in the eyes of non-parrot owners. The problem with no toys is that a major problem with pet birds is that, absent proper environmental stimulation, many of them self-mutilate, and the depiction of such a bare environment for the bird does the opposite of educating people about proper bird care.

Disgraceful!! There are over 12 million households with parrots as members. Each bird is unique and not a throwaway pet. What is wrong with you people??

This ad is despicable! As a parrot keeper, I can assure the idiots at PayPal that parrots are far more intelligent, and bond far more deeply with their human families, than cats and dogs do. It has been scientifically shown that the neural connections in avian brains are so tightly woven that a parrot has the same cognitive ability as a primate with a much larger brain. What the h*** is wrong with you people!!!!
Parrots are living, intelligent beings - it is terrible to portray them as so replaceable. Does not inspire me to use Paypal when any other payment method is available.

This commercial is appalling on so many levels. This encourages irresponsible people to try something like this. As a parrot caretaker I would request this b removed. Not funny nor cute.

Paypal needs to relook at this offensive commercial about irresponsable adult behaviour in their view of replacing a beloved pet. Birds are not to be seen as throwaway items that are easy to replace. This is totally wrong and what does this say about our responsibilities as adults and carers of our planet.

This makes parrots seem like throw away pets and they are anything but. Parrot parents have a very strong bond to their feathered kids and would be devastated if the bird got out.
