This is a disgusting commercial! How can you imply that a bird is just an item to replace like if you broke a glass! They are not throwaway pets! They are sentient beings and family members. I am sure all the paypal executives would not go out and replace their child with another kid without a thought if some stupid idiot lost it. Whoever made this ad should be fired! Very insulting to us bird lovers!

This is unbelievable in the first place parrots that are born and raised in captivity will not survive on the outside and to make it seem like it's no matter that they just fly out of window just call and get another one pay for it with PayPal extremely offencive. Parrots are not dispensable if you cannot be responsible pet owner you have no business having one.

Parrots are like any other beloved pet. they are NOT replaceable. once you lose a pet you become heartbroken and its memory never leaves.

Not only is this commercial totally inappropriate and is any bird lovers worst nightmare, it implies that a beloved companion can be not only replaced, but that an entirely different type of bird can be substituted and the owner would be none the wiser! Shame on you paypal for having such a cavalier disregard for companion parrots and their owners.

Please remove this commercial. It is teaching public the wrong message. Parrots are highly intelligent. You don't just give a pet away. Dispicable and inhumane.

Oh come on PayPal, give your head a shake! Who on your staff thought this was in any way appropriate!! Do you have any idea how traumatic it is to lose a pet bird? They are virtually impossible to get back - not like a cat or dog that can't fly for miles and miles and will come when called. As a bird owner for over 30 years, this ad actually makes me cry because if this was my bird I would be devestated and never get over it!!!
