I recently lost my Parrot of 14 years to an accidental escape...this commercial is heartbreaking...to think that a beloved pet can be "replaced" is just wrong on so many levels!!! To not inform the owner of an animal you let escape is deceitful...it's fraud to attempt to hide your mistake by using PayPal to buy a new pet. You're encouraging lies and fraud.

This advert disgusts me, pull it down!!! And it's also showing that it's "okey" to house parrots in unsuitable cages!, i really am shocked.

I am a Paypal account holder, and I’m very upset with this ad. To imply that someone’s cherished family member can be easily replaced is offensive. Would you run this ad with a dog instead of a parrot? Parrots are no less loved family members than dogs.

Parrots are sentient beings that form deep attachments to their caregivers. Treating them as disposable pets is unfair and cruel to them. People need to really consider this before bringing one into their lives. If a person is not willing to commit to the care of an animal through his or her natural lifespan they should not bring an animal into their homes.

Pets are considered throw aways in our society especially birds. Please remove this ad as it reinforces that idea. Pets need to be treated with kindness not treated as things.

Could taste get much poorer? Have you any idea how much heartache people really go through when a pet bird escapes? It's like losing a child. They can't be replaced.
