Paypal, remove the offensive "need a new skipper" commercial

This is a horrible and insensitive message. Please remove your awful commercial.

This is one of the most messed up commercials I have ever seen. I will be deleting my paypal accounts ASAP because I don’t want my money going to someone so stupid.

Birds are not a disposable pet. They are a life l9ng friend.

This is beyond tragic and shows pure ignorance on both PayPal and the director. First and foremost a bird is not a disposable object. This is a living, breathing, animal that has the intelligence of a dolphin. Secondly if a bird flies out of the window its odds of survival are little to no, so you are basically killing the bird off in this scenario. Thirdly it shows improper care to the bird with the VERY small inappropriate cage with no toys. If this were done to a dog in a commercial you would have to deal with animal right groups being extremely upset and depending the removal of the commercial. It saddens me that it is OK for you to basically post that a bird is an easily replaced expendable object.

This add is extremely irresponsible! From the type of cage used, no toys, open window, and treating someone's pet bird like they are disposable! Please take it down!

How cruel, heartless, insensitive and offensive can you be? The person whose bird died is still suffering. Remove that photo immediately. I will share this story with every Facebook bird/parrot group I am in, plus my bird club of 385 members. Do the right thing and remove this photo.

Stupid commercial! Birds aren't throwaway pets! Wrong breed replacement anyway!

This is problematic on many levels, and shows willful ignorance on the part of those who produced it. No parrot should be housed in such way, with insufficient space and absolutely nothing to stimulate its mind. That is cruelty, and it perpetuates the dangerous myth that birds can live happily with nothing but a cage and some food. The thought that a parrot -- with a highly individual personality and typically years of special training by the owner -- could be switched out unknowingly with another is ridiculous and insulting.

Not good

This commercial is ridiculous. No sane parrot owner would have a bird in a found cage, with no food or water toys especially near an open window. The bird also wasn't replaced with the same species!

This is upsetting, and PayPal could do better. This isn't what I think of when I think of PayPal.

Please take this ad down. It is not funny someone losing a beloved pet. Disgusting Paypal.

This is not ok. A bird is not something that you just forget about if he/she flies off, and buy another one. They are life companions, family members. This is wrong to all bird owners, and to any pet owners in general.
