This ad is reprehensible. You are promoting the concept that birds are disposable and can be replaced without recognizing their individuality and their value as companions to humans.

That is just plain ignorant. Parrots are family members, and not replaceable like that.

This is just sick. Parrots are as intelligent as toddlers, more loyal than dogs, and are incredible members of the family. This ad is disgusting.

Horrible ad

Hey, why don't you show her letting a puppy run out into traffic, and then ordering a new one. Oh, that would be wrong, but birds are disposable. Birds are not "things" they are sentient beings, and are actually more intelligent than dogs. This ad is insensitive, and this company would never get my business.

I appreciate humor, but this advertisement is appallingly irresponsible and not well thought out. Your video depicts my worse nightmare as a bird owner... a careless caretaker, a lost family member that would not likely survive, and a callous, irresponsible message that this family member is so easily replaced. In your mind, replace the bird in the video with a beloved child or perhaps a beloved dog. Would you still think the video is appropriate, or that it would be received favorably? Please remove this advertisement. It is sending the wrong message and is disturbing to many devoted bird owners. Thank you.

Not only are pet birds not accessories you can just replace when you misplace one, that is not an acceptable size cage for that bird! You're misleading your viewers into cruel, inappropriate care for pet parrots.

A parrot is a living soul with a distinct personality. You replace a sweater or jewelry, or a cup of sugar, you don't replace a living, breathing, creature! This ad sends a bad message to lesser intelligent people and is so very wrong of your company to portray parrots as such insignificant pieces of property! Please "replace it (your ad) with some other ad." That's appropriate!

Shame on you PayPal! Why don't you show somebody short on their paycheck, need car repair and can pay for it with PayPal rather than replacing a feathered kid!!!???

This is a horrible ad. Birds are considered to be like a child to bird lovers. This is so offensive like Paypal can replace a lost child. If your babysitter left the door open and your kid ran away would you go shopping for another? Use your heads. No longer a fan of PayPal.

Remove this or I will stop using paypal! Your ad agency and the execs that approved this obviously need to search their souls. Birds are intelligent creatures and just zs much a part of their owners' families as any other pet and many many times as much as human members. I had one that was like a child. Shame on every one of you decision makers for not recognizing the worth of a parrot's life.
