I would consider a "friend" who let my bird go on thin ice. She/he would be far more easily replaced than my bird. And PayPal, you're easily replaced too.

Birds are as individuals as any other pet, if not more so most of the time! They have a hard enough time staying in one home without seeming to be easily replaced in the media.

This Commercial is so Wrong on so many different levels. Disappointed in the PayPal advertisement team. Clearly they did not do their research and this demonstrates no respect for the avian community or these amazing intellegent companions. Shame on them.

A bird is not a "replace it with some other bird" pet, any more than a dog is a replaceable pet. Your ad is offensive to all bird owners.
