Offensive as hell. Parrots are not replaceable or dispensable. Nor do thru ever ever ever ever belong in round cages or any kind nor one that damn small that isn't suitable for a gnat.

This commercial makes it acceptable to 1) release a helpless pet outside, where it surely dies 2) inplies the animal is dispensible 3) shows incredibly poor husbandry with an inappropriate cage and 4) shows a complete lack of research skills by the marketing group that designed this commercial, as a simple google search reveals all of the previous points.
A commercial showing someone losing their friend's cat in the dryer, or letting the golden retriever out to get hit by a car and then replacing it with a bulldog would never be tolerated or even suggested.

This is awful. Parrots are nit replaceable, they are family. How about instead do a commercial about someone losing a baby they are watching and replace it with another.

Sickening to knowing release a bird in to the wild. And to celebrate this! As a 5 parrot owner I find my birds to be irreplaceable little souls with huge personalities that understand what they are told, they have all expressed grief at the death of a flock member. They are not disposable or replaceable! Very sad

As a bird owner I am absolutely disgusted with this ad. This is wrong on so many levels and deeply offensive. The person who thought of it should be fired and I hope they don't own any pets. Regardless of the intentions of the ad it was portayed so poorly and untastefully that I don't see anyone even getting a little chuckle out of it. Take this disgusting crap down.

with their incredible intelligence, a parrot should be allowd to choose the person they want to belong to. It's a relationship that will likely last a human's lifetime, and hopefully, the parrot's lifetime.
