We spend so much time and energy haggling over paying our mutually agreed to raises, time and energy that could be more productively devoted to UMass in other ways. Please do the right thing and pay our raises now. Let's move forward!

Please honor our contract and pay all of our negotiated wage increases. Fair is fair. We bargained in good faith, and expect the contract to be honored. Thank you.

I am concerned with the passing trends, we make sacrifices to sign our contracts and then have to fight to receive the retroactive pay that we have agreed to receive, and in most cases wait a large portion of time between ratifications. I have watched this happen two times now and have concernes that this is going to be a usual practice. There is no honor involved when you agree to something only to say later "I don't know what happened to the money, it was there" imagine if our work ethics followed that same mindset, nothing would ever get done. We are still working diligently, still keeping university interests, still holding our end of the bargain, please consider yours.

Why will top scholars want to join an institution which breaks it's promises and fails to meet its agreed upon obligations to employees? Not signing the contract is wrong, and it harms the reputation of UMass.

Not honoring an agreement is DISHONORABLE! And only the strategy of slimebags!
