Work prevents me from making it to the meetings but RPD has my full support and I don't see how our government can deny this pay raise! I'm outraged and will pay closer attention next time a vote comes around.

Our officers shouldn't have to fight for better pay, it should be automatic raises to keep up with surrounding counties and even surrounding states !!!!!!!

Very much in support of adopting the police pay scale asked for by the city and developed at request of city officials. I believe a great deal of time, research and effort went into this and we need to take this seriously. Richmond needs to have more than 5 officers on patrol. Our business has been robbed 3 times in the last year with fencing and security cameras.

I am a proud mother of a Kentucky State Trooper of Pikeville Ky and all State Troopers work hard and put their lives at risk every day for little pay and all State Troopers deserve more pay for their services

Our men & women in law enforcement deserve better than this. We ask of them to wear the badge while enduring life threatening situations with minimal pay and little backup when required. Richmond is where officers from all over KY come to be trained for goodness sakes... We should be leading by example! We need to take care of them & their safety so they are able to take care of ours. A handful of officers is not enough for our growing town. I back the blue.

Our current mayor is a joke. It's completely asinine to stand by and allow our police force, and community, suffer because he won't look at a reasonable pay scale. I can't wait for election time to roll around.
