Pay our police officers the money they deserve! This City needs to be cleaned up! East Main Street is needs to be cleaned up!!!!! My son doesn't even want to go outside much anymore because of the drug dealers and all of the prostitutes that walk this street! It is just filthy!

These me and women leave home everyday to patrol our city to try and keep it safe for us to go out into the community. They deserve to be paid for their duty. They didnt have to choose to be a police officer they chose to knowing the danger they could face at any moment. Thank you all for your service and commitment to our city.

The mayor needs to go on a ride along one night in the Turpin and Ballard Drive area. Maybe then he will understand why our police officers deserve more pay.

The city has been accepting the taxes paid by citizens. In exchange, it is the city's obligation to provide emergency services for Richmond. Why are they not spending the tax money to pay for officers? Here is an article I saw on WLEX last week listing the 20 safest cities in Kentucky. Would you like to see where Richmond falls? http://www.lex18.com/story/32525039/safewise-releases-list-of-20-safest-cities-in-kentucky You will have to click the embedded link in the article for the entire list and then scroll waaaayyy down to the bottom to find Richmond listed as 67 out of the 84 cities assessed for the article. For reference, Lexington and Louisville were 68 and 73, respectively. Richmond, you deserve better.

Please support our officers with financial compensation for putting their life on the line every time they go to work. We deserve seasoned officers in Richmond. The situation is out of control
