The police have an increasingly difficult job, why does their pay not reflect that. Increase their pay. The people who make these decisions may need the police one day.

Even if our starting pay for our officers is comparable to other cities, why don't we set the precedent for being a step above the rest and do the VERY BEST POSSIBLE for our heroes in blue!
