Put it on sales tax. Or you and put meters in and let the people that owns property pay there part but get parking stickers to allow them to park at the beach without paying for parking meters and pay a small fee

This is a waste of money. hundreds of thousands of dollars of beach renourishment to buy an extra 30 minutes of time in the face of a Cat 3 or 4 hurricane. If pursued, agree that some of the cost should be passed on to renters (tourists).

Only want a pause for research on paid parking revenue, annual pass stream, and a better solution on vegetation on the dunes to prevent sand going back to ocean.

Let's make this fair. The tourists HAVE TO PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE, at the very least. Y'all elected officials need to figure out that the taxpayers are feed up. Fix this now or we will find someone else with the gumption to do what is right.

I don’t feel that our council always acts in the best interest of the property owners on Oak Island. They tend to be uncreative in their approach to solving money issues and tend to fall back on taxing and penalizing residents as an easy way out.

Please try to apply for state and federal money. Look into paid parking.

Just not a good time if any time is a good time to add more cost to anyone. Things are hard enough right now.

We are concerned any man-made resolution will be quickly overridden by mother nature. We strongly feel it could be a waste of tax payers money. This will drive the retired folks out.

The sewers should be paid off before more debt is incurred.

Purchase the houses and let it go ! The sand is currently blowing from north to south back to the ocean . You aren’t going to stop it .

Please...More time is needed to look into all possible funding resources, outside raising taxes on the residents of OKI. There are a lot of retired folks who moved here to enjoy their retirement and it shouldn’t become so over-taxed that they are forced to sell.

The taxes that people Have to pay on this is ridiculous! Come up with an different alternative
