People put these idiots in power perhaps it's time to vote against them. We are constantly at war at the moment fighting extremists so their argument does not wash.

why do mini dictators who hide behind " the rules" add to the anguish of his family and friends. To them I say do not give up. He served his country and the fact he died "on a Special Forces exercise" surely show that he was an exceptional soldier. RIP

he may not have died in combat, but he was in many and fell training for combat. A tragic accident, left a family behind grieving for such an unfair taking of life. It's the least this stupid council could do. "For our tomorrow, they gave their today."

I am a former Royal Marine. He died serving our Country although it wasn't a conflict he was still on duty. If this gives his family some happiness then it's the least the country can do.

How dare they refuse to put his name on the cenotaph he fought for this country & thesw bloody pen pushers are denying him his rightful place on the cenotaph & to be remembered by those who see his name.

i assume most of penalty council have not served in the forces. They wouldn't understand.
