Every person who is in the british forces deserves to have there name on a memorial. The minute he put the uniform on his life belonged to our Queen and country, and was prepared to lay down his life for both. The respect he deserves shouldnt be an issue

Penarth Council need to remember that the lives of our soldiers matter and that those who gave their lives need to be honoured in this small way.

Come on Penarth wake up and do the decent morally right thing and include this mans name. If you don't you should be ashamed of yourselves. He has served his country.

Whether in combat OR in training for combat - All of our forces should be recognised for their sacrifice.

whether at home or abroad, this man died defending the country he loved and believed in! As a country we must do everything we can to remember his actions, and the final price he paid for his nations freedom! Rest in peace, you will be missed!x

I agree completely with a number of other people who have signed the petition - this soldier died whilst serving his country - whether at home or abroad he was doing his duty for his country. Penarth Council, your duty is to put Paul Woodland's name on your Cenotaph! Sian and Paul's family - I'm sure your dear loved one's name will be added when the council see how many signatures you will get. These brave men and women are serving their country courageously - show some Respect, Penarth Council!
