As an alumnus of PHS, and as a veteran, I find this terribly sad.

I went to this school and this would have never been acceptable. At minimum this principle should be suspended without pay for a time. If she is too busy to take some time to handle a issue like this, she probably is too busy to handle the children attending school there.

Not surprised. This same person kept me waiting 35 minutes just chatting with visitor in her office. All I wanted was a copy of my high school transcript. When she finally came to the front desk she had a horrible attitude. Unfortunately, for the local community, she still seems to have a nasty attitude

Teach and show respect to each other and our country and flag. Every school in patterson has Boy Scouts in their school, ask them to step up and do a flag ceremony during morning announcements and retiring the flag in the afternoon while everyone is getting ready to go home! How hard is that!!?

The ideas of trust, loyalty, morality, fidelity, respect... these are all values being stepped on by this 'pillar of the community' when she commits such actions. It does not matter ones thoughts on our current government, or even if you are patriotic. There are philosophies and ideas, values and principles, which need to be instilled in the youth. If they are not instilled in people when they are young, it is doubtful they will ever acquire them. This is important.

Seeing alot of things like this is our schools , teachers , principal's and board members could care less about what the parents think or want , this here is a prime example of one that should be fired , if you cant do your job step down , your just in it for a paycheck.

Please people. I'm the one who brought this to light. It's my FB post about the flag. Whoever created this petition page please remove it. My intent was not malicious. I did not want to ruin anyone's career. If this is truly what the country I fought for has become I'm more ashamed than I thought I was that we have become these type of people. Seriously!?! Calling for someone career being ruined. Look at yourselves in the mirror. Please! And ask yourself would want to be fired drug through the mud just because of a mistake? I posted what I did for AWARENESS!!! Not to crucify someone. I beg of you all please do not do this her. Please?

In my opinion she was very disrespectful to our veterans not to mention she is showing our children that it is ok to be disrecptful.
