Patterson High Principal disrespects American Flag

Now Bailey, I realize you are young and a product of this person's teaching (I'd bet that you can't recite the pledge of allegiance, without googling it) but buying a piece of cloth and having someone go outside and hang it on a pole, does not demonstrate 'deeply caring' for anything but herself. These actions are called 'damage control actions' and not acts of caring. If the American Flag flew out front of her building until it disintegrated then the principal has NO care for it or what it represents. Nothing can change that. Certainly not creating a task for others.

All of you people are being so stupid over this. Trying to fire a good lady for a reason like this. So what would rather? A flag in the air in a country ran by idiots.. Or a country run by people who had successful educations? Yes we should respect veterans and the flag. At a certain point you should probably think logically though. To get someone fired, who worked a hell of a lot for the position and does a lot for the students, over a reason like this? Grow up people.

We now have students who are responsible for putting the flag up and taking it down everyday. Of course, you wouldn't know that because you only hear what the media tells you. I will kindly ask you to stop bashing my principal, someone who deeply cares for her school, town, and country.

Perhaps the principal should see the war zone the veterans are fighting and what the AMERICAN FLAG represents. Her comment is a disgrace to all veterans.

KM, are you talking etiquette or allegiance? Two different things and etiquette can be taught but if a person lacks allegiance, they just lack it. No one that ignores a flag (on property that they are in charge of), for 700+ days, has allegiance nor can they be taught allegiance. However, sugar coating it and faking may work?

Bailey what action has been taken? The principal learned from an honest mistake is what you said what is the honest mistake I ask you. We should ignore, is what you are saying?

I am the reason for this being posted. For the record I never claimed to be a high school graduate. Truth be told I'm high school drop out!

i dont think she should be fired,but i think she owes an apology for disrespecting the symbol that allows her to be free and have the freedom of choosing a job that you r suppose to be a leader and uphold a higher standard because u are a school principal!
