Similar to Patrick Gallagher I left Ireland in 2010 to join the United States Marine Corps. I served four honorable years until a toll was taken on my body. This man is a hero and deserves this token of appreciation for his gallant efforts in Vietnam. Semper Fi

I served in the US Navy 1962-1966 I would be honored to serve on a ship in honor of Patrick Gallagher

a country should remember it's fallen hero's and this would be an appropriate way to say "thanks" to a fallen.

I support the naming of the DDG Class ship, yo Honor L/Cpl Gallagher. Further I feel his case should be reconsidered to receive the "Medal Of Honor"
