I'm from Cork and my sisters kid David McCaffery is currently serving in the U.S. Navy it would be great if Dave got to serve on USS Patrick Gallagher.

Patrick travelled thousands of miles from home to the United States of America. He then fought for their army and fought hard and gave his life for them. Because the bond and respect between our countries is so strong. Name a boat after him please.

My father, Tim Lyons, was from a town close to Ballyhaunis. My son is currently a Corporal in the Marine Corps. I thank Patrick Gallagher for his service. RIP. He deserves this for giving his life.
