Please name one of our new DDG's after a brave Irishman who died in service to our country.

A true hero, this needs to happen. I would sign my petition regardless of where Patrick was born but being Irish makes the ink flow a little faster from my pen.

Delighted that this mans selfless actions have been recognised and commemorated 50 years after his death. I am proud to know some of his family, and to have worked with his sister for many years. This would be a fitting tribute to L/C Gallagher and indeed all Irish men and women, who died at war, proudly wearing the uniform of their adopted countries.
