A tribute such as the naming of a US Navy Destroyer is most befitting of this young man's selfless act. Our prayers are with his family; I know their pain; my brother was killed on September 11, 2001; he (Lt. Joseph Leavey, FDNY, a proud Irish American), too, gave his all for others. May they rest in peace and keep us close to God. Please Secretary of the Navy approve this request. Thank you.
