Corporal Patrick Gallagher showed great pride for this country for serving in the USMC. Even though living in the U.S. on a green card he chose to serve this country, and payed the ultimate price for helping out his brothers in arms. That shows the type of exemplary courage & code that Corporal Gallagher had for this country. Please give this DDG117 ship the very honor of being named after USMC Corporal Patrick "Bob" Gallagher.
