SUCCESS! The USS Gallagher was officially named this morning!

Please add my name to the petition to name a US Ship in his honor.

This not only fare but a duty of the country to recognize his worthiness to not only this country but his own.

He deserves this great honor!

IT'S JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO FOR A MARINE.

Lance Corporal Patrick Gallagher was really a hero. He received the Navy Cross for extraordinary valor. It would be very fitting to have a US Navy Ship named in his honor. Also, Patrick’s parents would be entailed to many benefits from the VA (Veterans Administration) that he earned while serving with the US Marines in a combat zone. There is a benefits booklet on the VA website www.va.gov

I whole Heatedly Agree and Believe That Passing This petition Favorably Would Not Only Recognize This Marines Sacrifice To This Country In Honoring Not only Him & His Family But also All Other Sailors & Marines That Had Served and Sacrificed There Lives For Our Country In The Vietnam War, I Served as a Marine in and around Dang in I Corps in 1968 and Proudly Recognize and am Thankful to This Marine For What He Had Done For His Brother Marines !
