Patrick bob Gallagher was a very brave man ,He was home on holiday in his native ballyhaunis before going to Vietnam ,and as he knew he was going to war, he was very brave to go back and fight, a hero in my eyes, and should have ship named after him

This brave soldier fought and sacrificed his life for his new country without reservation. Not only should a ship be named after him, but he should get the Medal Of Honor.

Patrick Gillagher was a school pall in Ballyhaunis in the fiftees It was an honner to know. I read about his sad death in adaily paper in the U K in the sixtys So Sorry

This proud Mayo man was a courageous soldier who showed his courage in helping his comrades. I feel it would be very secial to name a ship of the American fleet after him.

Corporal Gallagher had an outstanding military record in the service of the US. I think it's more than fitting that the Navy honor him with the naming of ship. He gave his life for this country, I think it would be fitting to name a ship after him.
