I am saddened by your loss, there should be no limit as to what the government should do for men like Bob
and their families, and naming a ship after one such as Bob is the least they should do.

I believe it would be very fitting to name a destroyer after Corporal Gallagher. It would not only be a well deserved honor to him and the U.S. Marine Corps and the Irish veterans but an honor to all of Irish American Vets who served Nam.
