As a daughter of a marine who was vietnam veteran, and on the other side aof the family the greatgrandniece of a 21 year old half irish marine who gave his life on the first day of guadalcanal I support this petition. Semper Fi.

He didn't have to go. Many American born evaded the war. He was a true hero. He makes me proud to be an Irish immigrant and a former marine.

My grandad was Patrick Gallagher from Cronroad, Kilcar,Co. Donegal and was buried there on Wednesday August 5th, at 99 years young. Coming back to NY today I saw this billboard at Dublin airport regarding U.S. Marine Patrick Gallagher and knew it was a sign fom my grandad to sign this petition . Who knows they are probably having a Gallagher reunion in heaven.
