As a woman who raised two kids on her own without the support of the father because he didn't want to pay. this infuriates me that a woman would try to force a man to pay for a child that was not his, the true father should pay for his child not somebody else paying for them.

I think the law needs to change, like this guy made to think the child was his for the 3 years. When she cheated and that guy being the Dad. It's just wrong!!!!

This law needs changed. His significant other cheated on him and he's footing the bill, not the child's actual father.

The Mother of the child should be forced to pay this guy back . Deceit should have consequences ! I'd sign a petition for that too !

My boyfriend was lied to 16 years ago. The baby momma told him the child wasn't his during an argument. By that time she was 3 years old. DHS knows she isn't his. At one point the mom was with the real father and DHS knew that too. This law is ridiculous, it needs to change. And all these women should be held accountable and be forced to pay back all of the money they have collected. We need to take notes from Texas and change this law.

Believe this law should be over turned, if the male had no reason to question paternity of the child.

I believe that the laws and court system in Oklahoma only believe in the rights of the mother and has no consideration for good hard working decent fathers. There are bad mothers out there just like men and both should be treated fairly.

The law should be changed. It's not right for a man to be forced to pay for a child that is not biologically his. This allows a woman to knowingly tell a man he's the father so she gets money for that child until he or she is 18. Why not pass a law where each newborn child gets a paternity test before they leave the hospital. That makes more sense to me.
