Para 2.A.2.B change "may" to "shall". Mother SHALL have made reasonable efforts to notify the father.

My husband is going thru the same thing. Oklahoma will not give him a paternity test, but he is demanded to pay. He also custody of 2 kids he's no getting child support for. We need to change this law!

I'm paying on a daughter who was born in 1989, I'm paying arrearage of $125.00 a month; she's 28 years old. Because of the mother I'm the enemy; divorce happened in 1992 and here's the kicker the state of Maryland will not give me a paternity test!

I also think it's ridiculous to pay child support to a parent that the child is not living with, which is what my husband has to do. His daughter has lived with the grandmother 11 years but we continue to pay the "so called" custodial parent even tho court documents prove the child lives with the grandparents. Maybe this can be changed too. Thanks!

Another Oklahoma law that's completely ridiculous. If she can sue for child support he should be able to sue her for fraud.

I believe if the child is not yours, you should not have to pay child support.

A man should not be required to pay child support for a child that is proven not to be his unless he adopted them
