Hey all,

Depression has affected everyone in one form or another. Sky Williams' viral video is proof enough of that as it went huge with his heartfelt message. Today at work I remembered how wildly successful Riot Games' campaign with the Nurse Akali skin and aid to the Red Cross after the horrific Japanese Tsunami in 2011, as well as Jaximus and the Make A Wish Foundation, and was thinking that something similar should happen with depression.

In the wake of Robin Williams' suicide-easily the most memorable comedians to me, if not the whole nation-suicide was once again brought to the headlines in national news. In 1998 Robin Williams brought to the big screen psychologist, doctor and clown Patch Adams, a physician whose goal in life was to brighten the day of his patient's through clown antics in order to create a sense of happiness in such mournful surroundings. Patch Adams started theGesundheit! Institutein the early 1970s as a project to bring clowns to children and orphans to bring tears of happiness to their eyes instead of sadness.

Both Patch Adams and Robin Williams knew the importance of comedy in life, especially when it beat back sadness, and that is why I am creating the Patch Adams Amumu Skin petition here to bring Riot Games' attention to the number of people who would be interested in a skin of this sort, and ask them to donate all proceeds from said skin to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to help increase awareness of the seriousness of depression and help the people who work tirelessly to save the lives of those who contact them.
