Hello everyone! As some of you surely know, Doki Doki Literature Club recently exploded on the internet, sparking mods, fan art, and so much more. Whilst a friend and I were chatting, we came up with the idea #PurpleHeartsForYuri. We would sell t-shirts and original art drawn by the both of us, as well as potentially handing out pamphlets to raise awareness about suicide. It's still a massive problem in the US, and we believe that this fundraiser could assist the AFSP in preventing these awful events. Every signature is one step closer to getting Dan Salvato's approval so we can go through with this fundraiser. Proceeds will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. As someone who is currently going through severe depression, I think this idea is great! It will raise awareness of the illness!
I used to be apart of the ddlc fandom and I left it due to all the suicidal stuff.. But petitions like this bring light to those dark things.
This needs to be passed onto dan, suicide needs to be prevented. What better way to do that than through Doki Doki art
I’ve been effected by suiside many times and they were my close friends if this works it would mean so much to me #purpleheartsforyuri
I don't have any money right know, but I completely agree with this message as I have a loved one who bis struggling with this. Happy to help

I think this is a great idea, as I have tried to commit suicide once before, so I know what it's like to be in that mindset of not knowing if there's any chance. Spreading awareness can help people be more open to talking to their friends and asking if they're okay, or for people to see there is a way up, there is hope, there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel.
