Passing of 200 foot Yellow Zone along Treat Avenue

People double park all of the time in SF, and on this street for the audio company and other quick drops. Why does Rinse need to remove parking spaces at a crucial time for the businesses in active space ? And Rinse customers should be in and out in a minute. There is plenty of room to pass.

I am a regular visitor to activspace and formerly a resident of this neighborhood. I am strongly against the yellow zone as I see several businesses in the activspace location, often in the 6-8 window.

The signs were torn down or placed where no one would have seen them. I didn't even know about this. It is a terrible idea. I'm a therapist and have clients from 6-8. It's already challenging to find parking in the neighborhood; not sure who this is helping. . .

YES!!! This will be a MAJOR problem for for all of us who conduct business daily, and nightly on Treat Ave. I personally have a salon business on that street location, and it is nearly impossible to find any parking at all.. as it is now! This was a complete surprise to us all who have businesses on Treat Ave. I/We never saw any posting in regards to this, otherwise I/We would have immediately protested this very bad decision made by this company. The fact that they posted their hearing signs facing away from where anyone would see them, especially knowing that no one walks on that side because of the encampment, is soooooo shady.

I am a business owner using an office in the Activspace building since 2011. I and some of my clients rely on cars for transportation. Adding a yellow zone to Treat Ave will make the already challenging parking situation much more difficult. I believe this is unfair to the many professionals who work in the area.

As a psychotherapist who has owned a small business at Activspace on Treat Street for years I am not only disturbed by the content of this proposal but also by how Rinse has tried to push it through. To post signs for a public hearing in a way that no one can see demonstrates the company's callousness about the needs of other citizens, as well as it's cynicism about due process in general. Sadly, in the ten years I have been in San Francisco I have seen this kind of thing occur more and more frequently. There are clinicians in our building helping literally hundreds of people in need every week. Many of us offer therapies at sliding scale to reach the city's under served populations. The parking situation is already bad for us and our clients and this change would only make things worse. Clearly both this decision and the way in which it was made stand in direct opposition to the collective good in the name of the narrow self interest. In light of this I ask that the city please change its position on this issue. Thank you.

I work in the activ space building where parking is already incredibly challenging. this loading zone puts an additional burden on our clients who come to patronize our businesses and can severely compromise our business as a result. There was a book donation branch that operated out of that space for years and the whole area is comprised of businesses who have never asked their neighbors to bear the brunt of the way they choose to operate.

One business can not dictate the parking needs and availability for a whole community. This negatively effects the other businesses along Treat as well as negatively effecting residents of the neighborhood that utilize of of the few remaining non permitted parking areas in the Mission.

Parking is already difficult in the area, when coming to use services or buy books in the ActivSpace complex. One business should not be allowed to commandeer 10 parking spots without making a good-faith effort to notify their neighbors. It would have been less costly to slip a flyer in a mailbox than post the flyers away from the trafficked side of the block under layers of cellophane wrap.

I vote no to this 200 foot yellow zone. Why give city (read public) parking spaces away to a company (read private) whose clients can't do their own damn laundry. Can we say PRIVLEDGE loud enough? Just no. Keep our city public for all.
