Passing of 200 foot Yellow Zone along Treat Avenue

I oppose this!

Didn't see the signs as homeless blocking the east side of street. Not fair.

I am strongly opposed to Rinse being allowed to extend their activities on Treat Ave. I am a business owner in ActivSpace, and I already find Rinse to be disruptive to business, generally rude, and not a good neighbor. I would have attended the public hearing and opposed the petition if I had seen the signs. This is truly not in the spirit of the law, or in the spirit of being good neighbors sharing the street. SFMTA, please reconsider this approval and give the public a chance to respond.

Small businesses > VC backed start-ups

As a resident in the neighborhood and a patron of ActivSpace, I strongly oppose this measure. By not communicating with the hundreds of small business owners affected, they were not given opportunity to protest something that will negatively affect their business and the neighborhood. This was willful deception. It's not neighborly and it's not right.

This is outrageous and will have a negative impact on the dozens of small business in ActivSpace. I had no idea this issue was up for comment. The side of the street where the notices were posted is perpetually clogged due to semi-permanent homeless encampments. I never walk on that side of the street due to the presence of crazy people, broken glass, discarded hypodermic needles and bum dung.

Parking is already hard on that block. There are hundreds of business owners in the building and even more clients visit every day. Those clients need those parking spots.

I work in Activspace and have had an office there for years. Parking is already impossible in the neighborhood. It's unfair that one company can monopolize half the street without properly informing the rest of us.

I am signing this petition as I have a small business in active space as well and find it a problem that one company can monopolize parking space only making it even more difficult for my clients to find parking. Very unfair to all the small business owners in sf. I didn't have a chance to vote against this because it was never advertised in a way that i could view it.

Please no!

Greetings - There are many client services businesses at the ActivSpace building (massage, acupuncture, hair, therapy, etc.). A parking ban from 6-8pm would negatively impact many of these businesses, making parking harder to come by for clients during peak evening periods. Please consider this matter in evaluating the impact of the proposed yellow zone!

Let's have a real hearing about this.

I am a therapist who uses office space at the ActiveSpace building whose front door is on Treat Street. It is already challenging, if not almost impossible for clients to find parking around the area. Reserving 10 spaces for Rinse... will only exacerbate the problem and is not fair to the customers or tenants in the area.

I had absolutely no idea there were notifications about any public hearing...and apparently very few (if any?) of the folks who have businesses at ActivSpace had any idea. Or we would've banded together sooner to oppose parking restrictions for ourselves and the many clients that get services at ActivSpace. I adamantly oppose imposing yellow zone restrictions on Treat Ave. for Rinse's purposes. It would mean that they have parking spaces AND will take up space on the sidewalk and the street. I hope you will consider the 500+ of us that are contributing to the local economy who do not want this loading zone.

Parking is already very limited in the neighborhood and I'm concerned that increasing a number of reserved spaces will make parking even more challenging for clients!

Like many of us in avtivspace. I earn my living by seeing clients at this address. Reducing available parking to benefit another business impacts me directly.

I also own a small business in this area. I rely on parking being available for my clients. I am not ok with allowing Rinse a 200+ foot loading zone on Treat Ave, that will take away much needed parkin and will negatively effect HUNDREDS of other businesses in the area, like mine! They were also sneaky and dishonest in how they let the neighborhood know about this; posting signs across the street from other businesses and turning the signs away from the road so no one could see. San Francisco used to stand up for the mom and pops, I hope you will consider the 500+ of us that are also contributing to the local economy and do not want this loading zone.

It is aelteafy very difficult to park on Treat Street and multiple businesses are on it. It is not fair for one business to have monopoly of the street parking. Activspace has many more businesses and is more populated than Rinse is to begin with.

I see my clients at Activspace every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. I did not see A SINGLE sign posted that notified the public of this petition. Had I seen it, I certainly would have opposed. Parking is already incredibly difficult for all of us at that time, as there are many businesses that are active in the evenings. There is no way one business should be allowed to monopolize a huge block of parking at that time.
