The Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) urges the U.S. Senate to pass The DREAM Act and the U.S. House of Representative to pass its companion bill, The American Dream Act. The DANR is calling on Congress to pass the bill and for President George W. Bush to sign into law. The DREAM Act would help undocumented immigrant who were raised in the U.S. and graduated from U.S. high schools to attend college and put them on a path to citizenship in America. If passed and signed into law, the DREAM Act and the American Dream Act would do the following: -Repeal the federal provision discouraging states to offer in-state tuition to undocumented students, thereby restoring statesâ

Established in 1997, The Dominican American National Roundtable is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advocate for the empowerment of Dominicans in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Territories.
