Please strictly enforce laws that protect the right to peaceful living of all citizens. Please impose complete and strict ban on the use of videoke machines and amplified speakers in residential areas.

My family and I have been suffering from very disturbing noise since a basketball court was built beside our wall without our consent! It seems we can't do anything since majority in our brgy. don't care coz they're not affected. We were even threatened once. To make matters worse, is our Barangay officials will host/ accommodate any event, any occasion in any day just to earn money from that court.

Noise pollution should be a national concern that disrupts people to live in peace and quiet. As our economy progresses, our workforce deserves a work life balance. A balance cannot be achieve if our homes are also pestered by noise and distress. Also, our workforce evolving and adapting to the changing times after the post pandemic. The work from home setup which we find it closer to our family. Then again, we cannot be productive if our homes a not suitable for an ideal condition. We need peace and quit for our children to grow and to learn to be creative. So, who are more productive? The noisy people or the workforce at home?

Sorely need this in Espina Village, Guadalupe, Cebu City. Tall house in the center of village like blasting everything from music and Karaoke to just regular TV and it's so noisy!
