HB 842, the Consumer Health Freedom Act will give ALL alternative practitioners the LEGAL right to practice openly and freely in North Carolina without fear of being criminalized by the medical board for practicing medicine without a license.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at a hundred which is honestly wild because I remember just staring at a blank screen thinking nobody would care about this bill at all (even though they really should). If you know anyone who is tired of the medical board overstepping please get them to click the link right now because I really want to hit that triple digit mark before I head over to the office later today.

All citizens deserve the right of choice in their medical treatment without interference by political, or economic interests to the contrary.

Alternative medicine has allowed me to find health without the drawbacks or Western approach and medicines. I know by my family and my own experience that only an integrative holistic approach can cure our bodies.

As a practitioner of Ayurveda / Naturopathy, I should not be criminalized for aiding those who CHOOSE to select me as their provider.

We need a balanced integrative approach to healthcare that empowers people to take responsibility for their health. The freedom to research and access natural alternative options is a right under the constitution. This will lessen the burden on the healthcare system.

Prevention is cheaper and more effective than throwing expensive medicines at the symptoms afterwards not to say that conventional medicine doesn't have a place in overall health. They are really complimentary. We need to be able to have access to both kinds of health care. The VA, for example, would be better off combining modalities in a holistic program to address the whole person, mind, body and soul for them to recover faster and for the VA to save money. We all need the same access.
I am still uncertain if I can legally offer potential clients herbal alternatives to health care and natural products?
I feel in the advent of OBAMACARE providing the community with natural alternatives to their health care and well-being, can be most beneficial.
THank you for not making the natural health field as "outlaws"...we're not, we care about our community and our planet!
