Our last great greenspaces and urban forest habitats must be protected for the future. I love rails to trails paths and am an avid bicyclist, but our last best greenspaces must not sacrificed for the convenience of a paved trail plan when there are other excellent, safe alternatives. With simple, common sense planning we can very successfully have both. We must all be committed to doing the right thing for this extraordinary greenspace.

Build bike routes next to sidewalks, or use part of the existing sidewalk - this has been done in many countries. Why destroy nature?

We do not want this!!! It will be an eye sore, lower the value of our home, desecrate the wildlife that we feed (deer, birds, raccoons, etc) , and lower our property value!!! No no no!

I am opposed to the plan for a walking trail through the Henderson Creek flood plain, The flood plain will not survive the environmental impact and the neighborhood is not designed for the influx of people the trail will bring. I encourage you to vote no on including the Henderson Creek flood plain in the plan.

The Henderson Creek area is not an appropriate place to put a walk-through. The flood plane is an area that will not survive the impact either environmentally or by human effects and behavior.

Mercer must be made aware this imposition into a residential area along with flora and fauna, forested trees, beautiful birds and wildlife this is environmental issue. Universities are the spokespersons for the environment. Don’t do this!! Doesn’t make any sense when there can be an alternative
