i am strongly opposed to the building of these high rises near the park area. I love the Green Line, the view and every aspect the park has to offer. The thought of of losing any of our green space to commercial buildings and destroying our raw nature makes me sick. You can build elsewhere, not at our park. I say stand up people for our park that we all love and cherish!!!!!

I am a recent transplant to Memphis. One of the reasons I love it here is because of the existence of Shelby Farms. In the near vicinity, there's not much nature, or places to hike and bike. Shelby Farms provide nature lovers like us that opportunity. I personally love the never ending horizon around bike ways and trails, especially during a beautiful sunset. However with this Parkside development, Shelby farms will lose its charm. First, it will ruin the view. Secondly, with so much added traffic on already crowded roads, it will be disgusting to drive there. So please stop this development. There are enough places in Memphis where such a development could take place, but not in the vicinity of the only existing urban park.

There is no possible benefit that a high-rise mixed use apartment complex in the Shelby Farms Park could possibly be. I DO NOT support the rezoning of the area for the development of anything but green space for public enjoyment.

Memphis, TN is becoming a joke due to the way the green space is being utilized. Park cars all over Overton Park's greensward, build high rise apartment buildings with unnecessary commercial space in Shelby Farms. When will our city government wise up? We WILL vote you out!

While other cities in Tennessee and the greater Untied States are acting to conserve, preserve, and enhance green space, Memphis and Shelby County appears to be moving in the opposite direction. Not all value is measured in "economic development." Please vote "NO" on rezoning.

The farm is a beautiful place in the middle of the city. This would severely obstruct the views from the park.
