I love going to Shelby Farms, because it is "away" from everything else. It is an escape. Traffic is now already congested. To add Parkside would make matters worse. Plus, the aesthetics of Shelby Farms would be harmed.

Having a planned development with single-family homes and a homeowners association has worked very well in this area. Since the property that is being proposed for this development is already zoned for residential and there is a demand for residential housing, and the residents around this area want single-family homes, it should be developed as single-family homes.

This area is not set up for a development like Parkside. We don't need more traffic. People come to Shelby Farms to get away from multi-story buildings and a lot of traffic. If not they can just stay in their Memphis neighborhoods where they already have that type of setting.

With developers given free reign in the city of Memphis, can't you simply pick another already-developed location? Or must developers build apartment buildings everywhere within city limits?

This kind of dense development belongs in a more urban part of town - not across from Shelby "Farms" and "Park" Rd. There are already 5 large apartment complexes within 1 mile of the proposed site. No more are needed.

We live behind the horse stables on Mullins station and d do not need the extra traffic and eye sore next to such a beautiful park.

We're supposed to be making Memphis a great place to live again... not dropping a nightmare in the middle of something as beautiful and peaceful as Shelby Farms.

I am a neighbor to the park and the traffic is already a huge problem. This would make things even worse.
