Memphis has plenty of existing retail and office space sitting empty. There is no reason to build such a 20th century office park in the heart of our largest green space in the city. People go to Shelby Farms to get away from places like "Parkside." In a perfect world something like this could work but Memphis has failed us time and time again when it comes to civic centric development.

A terrible idea on so many levels, bringing traffic and congestion into a serene, forested area with this gargantuan development. We here in midtown Memphis, as members of the Midtown Action Coalition and frequent users of the Greenline and all the amenities of Shelby Farms, stand with the residents of this neighborhood to fight this ill-conceived idea.

Please don't rezone this area. As a frequent user of the Greenline, I appreciate the natural beauty of this area. We need MORE greenspace, not less!

Memphis has to conserve this land for the future. No commercial development.

The beauty of Shelby Farms is what brought me out here, and is what brings so many visitors to this area. To build an eyesore so close to the park will take away from exactly what makes this park so unique and beautiful. In addition, the wildlife in this area are already challenged by construction and land use, please do not add to the habitat loss that has already put our wildlife in peril.
Do not build here.

It would be absolutely devastating to try and add 'development' to the serene and 'green' and beautiful park that we love

I opose this development on the bases of the of the community and how it will effect the quality of the surrounding communities .Theres also traffic and crime to contend with . I've lived in this community for 16yrs. I will sell house if this goes threw!

One of the things that helps make a city great and appealing is the number of places people can go to enjoy nature. Shelby Farms and Overton Park are about all we have left. Take a breath; put your capitalistic view of progress aside and consider how much it means to Memphians to have this unspoiled area available.

No. No. No. The area is already congested, and an apartment complex would only bring more traffic and crime to the area!
