Our neighborhood has enough traffic cutting through from Walnut Grove to the Bartlett area. This would make it nearly impossible for us to move around our neighborhood, not to mention the safety of our children by the added traffic.

This is a pleasant low lying neighborhood.... leave it to the foresight of the original zoning decision. The local fire service will need upgrades because of this development. Does the fire department even have the equipment to fight a fire in a 9 story high rise?

Would developers put an office building, apts, etc. in Central Park. Hell no, leave Shelby Farms alone. A jewel in the city.

This park is a city gem. Please don't ruin it by placing huge apartment building to break up the view. Seriously, are there no other places in Memphis to put apartment complexes?

Please do not allow $$ to override conscience. This is such a wonderful park and this area surrounding it needs to be protected. Do not give an okay for rezoning. This area does not need the increase in traffic congestion (which is already heavy in this area), of more apartments (certainly no highrises!), or retail shops (G'town parkway is a mile or two away. I hike this area off of the Greenline and can tell you it also serves as a wildlife crossway and habitat for many animals that cannot be supported by the park alone.
