I’ve lived in the Wrigley area for 11yrs and the parking is horrible. there are to many apts with not enough available parking. I’ve come home from work(sometimes at midnight)and I am forced to park illegally. I feel like a prisoner in my own apartment.cause if I want to go out I take the chance of loseing my parking and forced to park illegally. then take the chance of receiving a parking ticket. when the city planner aloud all the permits to build apartments in the wrigley area he/she should have made the building owners provide subterraneanl parking to accommodate the building residents.

What about the people who LIVE here? Unfortunately, we love it here but are looking to move because after 15 years, our quality life in this city has greatly diminished due to the lack of parking. Family refuse to visit me.... NO PARKING. I can't leave on a Saturday... NO PARKING. Who do you think brought people in when all these craft beer and restaurants were being built? The residents! Now you approved yet another building in downtown, with lack of parking - and once again the plans shows NOT ENOUGH PARKING.

The parking study did NOT take resident concerns into account: Not enough night time parking spots, unsafe neighborhoods for walking from distant parking to home at night, past/current/future loss of parking spots due to development (problem getting worse.)

Fix the parking struggles please I’ve seen it all. I’m a local cable guy and I serve this area it just hurts seeing these families pay so much for a nice place to live but yet get ripped off by the struggle with no parking and it has been more than a decade.

I am a home owner in the area. This is a very relevant issue for me. I have no parking for friends or visitors in the evening hours. There is no parking enforcement during the off hours. People park in the middle of the sidewalk and cross walks. My elderly relatives are not safe walking down the street with people parked illegally. If we enforced our current laws we might have enough money to pay for the initial cost of building new public parking structures. This is a beach community. We want to attract more outside visitors to the beach. Let’s provide all with easy parking to encourage more tourism from local and long distance tourists! We need public parking now!

There is no parking what so ever here in long beach! I have parked my car in front of my door which is located in the alley way and had to pay over $3ooo worth of tickets that i have not yet been able to pay off and not gotten my tags sticker for my car now im late on rent due to this and adding more tickets due to having no parking in my area! Its a burdeb for me and 4 kids. On top of all this i might have cancer once again which is when all these tickets have started. I explained to the cop i cant park far way its hard for me to walk due to my cancer and not having the strength. So soon all my hope will be gone! During my condition my doctor tells me not to stress but all this stresses me out! Your going to kill me with this parking issue!!
