It's very hard to find parking anywhere by my house , it came to a point where we can't even go anywhere past 5pm due to no parking and when we do we have to park blocks away from our house.

It's very corrupt that the city asks that the parking study not look at new development or Broadway corridor or after 6 conditions. Very dishonest and not transparent at all.

You realize the majority of people in this city commute to places like Orange, Victorville, Thousand Oaks and beyond, right, Mayor? Ditching our cars for bikes, while a great thing, is not feasible and WE NEED PARKING. Or we need more remote-friendly employers in this state. Please accept the current reality and work within it.

Why wasn’t all the new Downtown LB bldgs included in this study? Why did the study leave out ways to implement the parking that is available and link its citizens to the availability? Where’s the data for after 6 pm in Downtown. Why hide what the impact on the Broadway corridor? We need a full time Parking Mgr., a funding plan, a real evaluation of the impact of all the new bldg. and a parking plan run by the city. City Hall is actively ignoring the request of its constituents and turning our districts into degraded areas that no one will want to live in. It is not a hip, better city vision that is being touted.

Note how many developers are funding Measure BBB. Wonder if that is because current Mayor and council do not enforce appropriate parking needs for new development?

As a Senior Citizen it’s hard to park several blocks away from my apartment, especially when coming with grocery bags or other items.

How is it okay to keep degrading our quality of life?

Parking is so bad in my area (7th and Orange) and most of it is just waisted space between cars who don’t park properly.

Everyone from the mayor on down campaigned on rent and parking. Parking has now been the number one issue. We desperately need parking.

Can we please really review parking ratios? I’m okay with meters but we need affordable parking for residents. No matter what the final plan will be, it’s unreasonable to make parking this hard while we are situating the final plan. Please. Where I live, there isn’t affordable reliable parking right now, especially with the homeless problem. I’m a single female and it’s not safe to have to park two blocks from my house every time. And carrying packages really suck. I’m okay with making the city more about public transportation but we are not there yet. It is still unsafe. I’m downtown and the homeless problem is crazy, especially for parking.

Don't wait until this negatively affects you to take action when you have the power to act now & in the best interest of your constituents as you are destined to be one of us again.

We need to start utilizing existing parking while looking for creative ways to gain more spaces. Bird scooters are not a viable solution. The parking problem affects quality of life & safety in Long Beach. Your constituent are suffering. Do something!

Finding legal parking in Alamitos Beach is extremely difficult during the day, and nearly impossible after 6pm. The city needs to fix this!
