Unfair Annual increases They claim is in line with inflation (but our salaries are not)

Staff Allocations. If you had one last year you should be allocated one for the next year that if is not claimed by a certain time get released for general sale. Far better than the wait list that just adds unnecessary stress to staff that have to wait to find out if they can even have one, to effectively come to work.

Pricing for Staff and students to be the same. Staff are now paying more for the same spot as a student can use. How is this fair

Years of service discounts. After long service completed :IE 10 years service 10% discount then add 1 % per year of service. So after 25 years service you should be entitled 25% saving in the ever increasing cost of parking.

Moving Red and Blue permit bays to accommodate additional Pay park bays. Giving visitors better place parking than the staff and students

I work part time, three days a week, and still have to pay the same amount for a permit as if i was a full time staff member - this system needs to be reviewed !

I was away from work with a back injury when the parking permit sale opened on Wed 7/2. I returned to work the following Monday (6 days later only) and attempted to purchase my permit and am now on a waiting list. Current permit holders should absolutely be given the opportunity to purchase first (2 days is not enough).

As a poorly paid professional staffer, with no ability to ever have a wage increase, the fact that my employer charges me to come to work in my car, I find abhorrent!

In addition the process for disputing fines is sub optimal. You send an email to the address listed, and never get a reply. For this cost you would expect some decent customer service.

If staff have to pay for parking, staff should have first dibs on parking allocations and purchases. The online allocation process can be something that remains open over a few weeks or few months for staff (even at the end of the year) since staff will hopefully know whether they will be returning post New Year. Especially ridiculous for those staff who were on holiday during the purchase period of 3 days. The "too bad so sad" behaviour, response and treatment by the unit handling this parking SCHEME needs to be addressed and dealt with. I'm sure if we were all HEW6 and above like them, we would "just buy a red permit".
