We need replacement parking spots for those that were eliminated, we have no where else to park.

To Whom It May Concern,
Please take the parking issue into consideration as the situation on Beverly drive is extremely unpleasant and inconvenient. With cars being parked on both sides, it is practically impossible for two cars to pass each other and it's very hard to see the cars coming from around the corner due to other cars being parked there. This situation currently reminds me of city parking and the lack of such. There are numerous reasons why people choose to live in the suburbs instead of the city and parking is one of the reasons. Please deal with this situation as it poses a problem to numerous residents of the condo buildings along Old Orchard road.

Please restore the parking on Old Orchard road or provide us with another location where visiting guests can park. It is a major inconvenience for anyone wanting to come over not to have a place to park! Please bring the parking spots back.

We are new to the area and moved in shortly before the construction on Old Orchard Road which eliminated a lot of parking. It was hard enough then trying to find parking for guests, now its pretty much impossible. If you have more than one car in the household or anyone visiting, you are out of luck. I would really appreciate the Village of Skokie looking into the parking situation and providing us constituents more parking or a reasonable alternative.

To make more parking spaces so people would more then one car can park so it's easier and so we don't have to wait for more then 2 hours for someone to leave. Also because winter is coming in and it's gonnna be harder since people don't wanna leave their homes .

When I come to visit my son and his family on Beverly Dr,especially on weekends, I cannot find a parking lot there and it's so frustrated. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible!

It is unfair to residents not to have any nearby parking options available. I have to walk with my young children, sometimes in the rain, long distances just to get from my car to our home. If I were living in downtown Chicago and paying high prices for city living, I'd understand. But we moved to this village because of the street parking and because it was in a suburban-like setting. I talk with my neighbors about this all the time. Some are older, over 60 and 70 years of age, and they share with me stories of walking from blocks away, and how it's hard on them. If there were available parking close by, I'd understand. But that's just not the case. You can't get to any nearby parks without walking a long distance or having to cross a major intersection. I would like to invite a friend over without having to worry about them walking several blocks just to get to my door step. We ask that you give us these parking spaces back. Thank you.

Living at this condo (10101 Cherry Pkwy) is no longer enjoyable. I cannot invite family or friends over to my home because the parking is impossible. I don't even bother inviting people over on holidays or special occasions because there is nowhere to park. This has really impacted my family and my neighbors in a bad way. When I bought my condo in 2015, I was content because I was told that there would be parking available other than my reserved spot. Not having these spaces available also impacts families who have two adults, which is a large majority of us. I have a car. As does my husband. Sometimes I'm forced to park blocks away, and then carry my groceries and my baby daughter long distances just to get to my home. It's very frustrating. I moved to Skokie and stayed away from purchasing a home in Chicago because I knew that I wouldn't have to worry about not finding a space. But that has not been the case in recent months. Please make these spaces available for us.

I think it is so unfair that the parking was taken away along Old Orchard Road in Skokie. I request that Skokie Village reinstate the parking spaces and create additional parking spaces. It's always been a problem parking and having guests over. The parking on Beverly needs to be removed on the east side of the street. That street is too narrow for parking and it takes away from the curbside appearance of our community.

The parking here was bad enough; removing parking on old orchard has made it very difficult for us and we plan to move due to this situation.
