I needed to be taken by Fire Ambulance to Hosputal thet parked in the middle of the street. took me by a charir to put me in the fire ambulance.This is what the parking has done for emergency vehicles.

Skokie does not appreciate it's common people. I'm 81 yrs old and I have to pay full boat for my sticker. Waukegan charges $10.00

Please add additional parking! People park on the side by cimitary where is not aloud, I guess, and they get tickets. And one day I saw a black teenager was skateboarding on the trail and took these tickets from three cars and put them in his back pack. Poor these people that don't know about their tickets. I called Skokie policy department and I let them know about that guy and what he did. I hope they saw him in the around cameras!

additional parking needs to be put by the cemetery and not in front on the 4700 condominium property, as it devalues it significantly.

I do agree. The families living in the surrounding of that bike lane next to cement ary are suffering. Hardly any one using this bike lane. Please restore that path back to praking to ease the families of condo and aparents. Than you for your kind consideration. Haroon Tabani

Why we have been treated like a step child, Why village decided to have parking for Alden Nursing home and why they do not consider over 500 families to have parking. This is plan and simple politics and who you know than what need to be done.
Since Skokie does not have alderman therefore no one is willing to listen to our problems

I imagine the village decided to allow parking on Harvest and Beverly to 'compensate' for lost parking on Old Orchard. This created a very unsafe traffic situation. 2 cars cannot safely drive there now. Someone has to back off or wait for another one to pass. The parked cars prevent turning vehicles from seeing each other. This is a disaster waiting to happen. If anything, this community needs MORE spaces built on Old Orchard, not taken away for a bike path. Bike path is a nicety (and not necessarily for local residents), parking is a necessity. Necessity, especially for people who live right there, takes priority over nicety for random individuals who might want to ride a bike.

I have lived in this condo complex for 45 years and never was there a situation with parking like this the bike path was absolutely not necessary and need to be reversed and changed back to parking due to the needs of Skokie residents that pay a lot of taxes for the village d have to live in condos that are treated as if they were rentals! Shame on the village of Skokie!!!!!!

This is an unacceptable situation, and a disaster waiting to happen safety-wise for children in addition to the exceedingly horrible inconvenience. 1) There is a school bus stop at the corner, and with parking on both sides of Beverly now, the cars juggling around each other to get by takes your eyes and focus off of the children in the area crossing the street and waiting for the bus. 2) The meager parking on Old Orchard that remains is too narrow for most cars to fit into them--I always see them hanging off of the curb into the street. This is unsafe, and in the winter, these spots will be unusable.

Parking has become a nightmare on Old Orchard Rd. I am not looking forward to the winter. A two car house hold is the norm for today's society, to put in a bycicle path (that can't be used in the winter and is hardly used now) without making plans for the parking spaces that have been lost was very inconsiderate to condo owners who pay their taxes and pay for city stickers to place on their vehicles, vehicles that have no place to be parked! Hopefully the city has a plan to replace the parking spaces.

It is absolutely imperative to return some additional parking spots along Old Orchard Rd
