We all received the letter from the town regarding how the parking will be organized during the Kensington project which will last 2 years.
The town plan calls for us parkers to hunt for parking spots on certain streets and pay full price for that privilege ...
Just imagine what that will be like when there are no spots available.
Wouldn't it be better to have a designated spots for each vehicle like we have now ?
If you are unhappy with the proposed plan and believe we should have an assigned spot for the duration of the project please sign this petition .
It is hard enough to park in our neighborhood and nobody wants to fight 24/7 for a parking spot , especially during the hard snowy winter days or when you have a train to catch.
We also encourage you to attend the upcoming town hall meeting and voice your opinion.

I talked to Peggy for 30mn yesterday and it is clear that nothing is organized ! Please stop by and tell her you are unhappy and come to the meeting , according to her it is illegal to assign a spot on a public street but it is legal to charge for the "service" !!! I told her I was very concern about the safety of the kids crossing Sagamore and Kensington on their way to school , as well as the issue of the access of ambulance and firetrucks when it's the middle of the winter and we have cars parked all over the streets on snow banks ... No clear answer on that ....

I live in the neighborhood boarding the downtown area. Already we have employees park on our neighborhood streets. With the parking meters, this is now worse.
