Waste of money, just riddikulus.

Growing boys need lots of trousers and the proposed ones are very expensive compared to good quality trousers available from supermarkets. I think it is wrong that very few parents or students were involved in the decision.

some people can't afford to be buying all the trousers and skirts with logos why can't they just be given the logos to stick on

I hate the school uniform

Whilst in favour of a uniform policy because when it is fair, just and affordable I feel it helps pupils behave with good learning dispositions and without distraction or prejudice, this is not a fair, considered or affordable change. Many families are on low incomes or struggle financially, relying on supermarkets or hand-me-downs to send their children to school in uniform. The proposed supplier has prices that are several times greater than most supermarkets, and pounds more than John Lewis, one of the most expensive high street suppliers! DfE guidelines state that schools should keep branded/logo uniform to a minimum to ensure it doesn’t put undue financial pressure on parents. If the school feels they have to go with a single supplier, at least remove the embroidered logo to reduce cost. Most families are going to be affected by the onerous cost you are forcing on them; families affected by the loss of a parent, low incomes, illness and disability, divorce, redundancy, part-time working or zero hours contracts, parents of twins and multiples, or with more than one child. I urge you to seriously reconsider this discriminatory policy change.

Keep the old one new cost too much.

The cost of this new uniform is not acceptable. Totally unnecessary to make changes when the majority or kids at the school look smart. We all know that the kids who ignore the current rules will also ignore this one so it is completely pointless. People need to be able to shop around and buy the most suitable fitting and cost appropriate clothing for their kids.

No Overpriced School Uniform

The school ofstead report states she’s wants to work with parents, ignoring the them is not the way forward. There only interested in lining the fat cats pockets. I’m sure the high street stores could have them done for slander to.
