I have been spending my evenings reading the thoughtful comments many of you have left here. It is truly humbling to see so many people care about Bill and his story. Please know that your kindness is the only reason this case is getting the attention it deserves.

If the Pardon Board unanimously recomended his release, it should have been done, like the NEXT DAY.
This is a good man. Justice is not served by retaining him. He is no threat to anyone.
Bill has done his time. Please consider he was a young man 34 yrs ago and now he's older and wiser.
Governor Bobby Jindal- It is my hope and prayer that you will sign the application for parole for my only brother, William Edward Ollis, DOC # 101392. Bill has been incarcerated in Angola State Penitentiary for the last 34 years. He is a different man thanks to the LORD JESUS! Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" May God bless you as you make these life changing decisions!
My family and I are behind my brother 100 %. We would like him released so he can spend time with his family and get to know them all. Thank you, Alleen Fowler
Please release him.
Good person,should be paroled!

If you aren’t going to incarcerate the other people involved, why incarcerate Bill? Double Standard. Not right! The justice system wants to punish the ones who commit lesser crimes for longer periods of time whereas the one who commit more violent crimes seem to be released a lot sooner and/or never receiving any prison time!
