My friend and I were just at Parade tea room yesterday and saying how lovely it would be to sit outside in the summer with tea and cake whilst giving the babies a chance to run around.

Outside seating would be a lovely addition to the tea rooms it wouldn't affect the surrounding houses as you already get people converging on the common in business hours.

The Parade Tea Rooms has been a wonderful addition to the western end of Southsea. An outside seating area would enhance this wonderful tea room, provide additional much needed space, while providing a pleasant outside ambience to eat and chat in good weather. I wholeheartedly support their application. An amazing venue with wonderful food and staff. Southsea can only be improved with this additional facility.

This would be an incredible asset to Southsea, a beautiful place to sit, drink tea and eat cake and while the time away.
